(CNN) — The Powerball jackpot soared to an estimated $620 million ahead of the next drawing on Saturday night, when players will vie for the ultimate holiday gift.The grand prize climbed after Wednesday night’s drawing turned no grand prize winners. The winning numbers for Wednesday drawing were 27, 35, 41, 56, 60 and Powerball 16.The next Powerball drawing is on Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. (CNN) — TSA officers found 17 bullets wrapped in an “otherwise clean” baby diaper on Wednesday inside a passenger’s bag at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, the agency said in a news release.The hidden 9mm ammunition was discovered after a male passenger’s carry-on bag triggered an alarm in a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint’s X-ray machine.In its news release, the TSA referred to the discovery as a “new definition of ‘dirty diaper,’” and added that “apparently this guy needs a bullet-proof plan for packing his carry-on bag before heading to the airport for his next flight.”The passenger, an Arkansas resident, initially said he didn’t know how the disposable diaper filled with bullets got into his bag, the agency said. A man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in North York on Thursday night. Police are searching for a 29-year-old in connection with the shooting death of a Kleinburg man earlier this month in North York.Investigators were called to Oakland Avenue just off Wilson Avenue around 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 9 for reports of a man lying on the roadway.Paramedics transported the man to the hospital via emergency run in life-threatening condition, where he was later pronounced dead.He was later identified as 36-year-old Roberto Lowndes of Kleinburg.Police have now issued a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder for Luis Miguel Eucebio Severino.
