SCHENECTADY, N.Y.(NEWS10) - The YWCA of NorthEastern New York hosting their annual art exhibit, the Inspiring Women Project, to celebrate and empower women. Over 50 people attended the YWCA’s art show to a fan fair of applause. Great Barrington Airport future in question It’s the third year the YWCA in Schenectady is showing off the talent from over 35 local artists in honoring Women’s History Month at a reception that kicked off Wednesday night.There was food and champagne for guests to enjoy as they perused the works of art. Organizer, Administrative Coordinator Danielle Schimpf, explaining this year’s theme that will benefit art therapy programs at the YWCA.“The theme tonight is the inspiring women project. ST. LOUIS - Police are asking the public's help in identifying a person of interest who might have crucial information about a woman murdered in south St. Louis in January.They believe the man seen in the surveillance video might shed light on a murder case. On Jan. 16, 26-year-old Mahogany Jones was shot and killed next to a gas station in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood.An eyewitness who wishes to remain anonymous said Jones was shot in a nearby alley and came begging for help at the Conoco gas station on California Avenue, where she collapsed and died shortly after. The person of interest is said to be a regular at the gas station. (AP) — Tiger Woods’ girlfriend wants to nullify a nondisclosure agreement following a six-year relationship with the professional golfer.Attorneys for Erica Herman filed a complaint seeking declaratory judgment on Monday in Martin County, Florida, circuit court, according to online court records. The couple had been living together in the area, according to the complaint. Another storm system is headed to Southern California this week, with threats of gusty winds, potential flooding and hazardous driving conditions.Showers will arrive beginning Thursday night and will stick around through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.In Los Angeles and Ventura counties, light to moderate rain is expected, with rainfall totals expected to hit between 0.75 to 1.5 inches.Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties will receive moderate to heavy rainfall during the storm with expected totals of 2-4 inches. (KRON) -- A Black woman and her two daughters who were handcuffed by sheriff's deputies outside of a Castro Valley Starbucks in 2019 have been awarded $8.25 million by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, according to court documents.
