ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis City SC is partnering with Together Credit Union and the Gateway Region YMCA to launch a new youth program called soccer for our city. It will help teens cover the cost to play in the YMCA'S soccer program. Organizers want more local kids to have access to soccer."You learn so much more than the game of soccer, right. How to work with a team. How to collaborate, how to communicate, a wide range of skills. That's going to help you whether you're a soccer player or whether you go to benefit another organization in the city of St. Louis. So really, it's all about building a foundation today for the future of our youth in the city of St. Louis," said Tom Kraus.Together Credit Union donated $10,000 to the program.

Denver has signed 12 players in the first 10 days of free agency, including nine newcomers and three defensive returners. He got a fullback an accomplished blocking tight end and a running back in Samaje Perine who should make third-down life easier for the quarterback after the Broncos were historically bad on that down in 2022. Wilson says he wants pressure and expectations and also wants to be coached hard. Sean P...

Jared Polis and Democratic lawmakers unveiled their sweeping land-use legislation package Wednesday, a first-in-decades reform that would reshape Colorado’s patchwork zoning system in an attempt to address the state’s housing shortages. The legislation — primarily coming from one, 106-page bill — will seek to encourage denser building in key urban areas; to better study and plan to address housing needs; and cut “red tape” and clear the way for property owners to build more units on their land. The bill would direct the state Department of Local Affairs to draft “model” housing codes for cities, though local governments would have the ability to accept minimum standards into their current regulations. If they don’t, the department’s model code would be placed upon them. The bills, set to be introduced Wednesday, represent Polis’s primary approach to solving the state’s housing crisis.
