By Oliver Darcy and Jon Passantino | CNNFox Corporation on Friday said its top lawyer, Viet Dinh, will exit the company in a significant shakeup to its corporate ranks in the aftermath of the company’s historic $787 million settlement with election technology company Dominion Voting Systems.“We appreciate Viet’s many contributions and service to FOX as both a board member of 21st Century Fox and in his role over the last five years as a valued member of FOX’s leadership team,” said Lachlan Murdoch, chief executive of Fox Corporation, in a statement. “We are grateful that he will continue to serve FOX as Special Advisor where we will benefit from his counsel.”According to an SEC filing on Friday, Dinh will receive a $23 million cash settlement and will be paid $5 million for a two-year term as special adviser.Dinh was said to have a close relationship with Lachlan Murdoch, joining the company as chief legal and policy officer in 2018. (KRON) -- Four men were arrested in connection to a San Francisco homicide, police said Friday. A 25-year-old man was shot on Rose and Webster streets June 25. The victim was dropped off at a local hospital, where he later died, police said. The San Francisco Police Department's Community Violence Reduction Team officers identified suspects connected to the killing as 28-year-old Jeremiah Fisher, 24-year-old Deniro Gulley, 21-year-old Jamaree Willis, and 25-year-old Chase Goodspeed-Taylor of San Francisco.Officers served search warrants at numerous locations across the Bay Area and arrested the four men this week. (KRON) -- Last month, the Alameda Police Department reported 94 vehicle thefts, according to data posted by the law enforcement agency. That number is a decrease from June when APD reported 106 auto thefts. VIDEO: Suspect steals catalytic converter from Prius in Alameda Hyundai Elantras and Mazda 3s were the most frequently reported stolen vehicles in the city, Alameda police said in a Facebook post on Friday. The department did not specify how many times in July those two car models were reported stolen.The Hyundai Elantra was also the city's most frequently stolen car in June, according to an APD Facebook post. In May, the most frequently stolen vehicles were Hyundai Sonatas, Hyundai Tuscons and Ford Econoline vans. Along with car thefts, catalytic converter thefts are also down in Alameda.
